About Us · Our Team

Our Team

Each procedure is performed by a specialist physician in the field it belongs to. Alongside the physicians, a team of nurses stays with you through preparation, the procedure, and recovery.

Who we are

Whose hands you are in

Polyclinic Maletić brings together specialists in surgery, urology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and anesthesiology. Three of the physicians are members of the same family, while the fourth has been part of the medical team since 2008. All of them work at both locations, and three have for years trained colleagues from other countries, each in their own field.

Each procedure is performed by a specialist physician in the field it belongs to. The physician performing the procedure is already familiar with the findings, the indication, and the agreed treatment plan.

Behind every procedure

The nursing team

The nurses stay with the patient throughout their time at the clinic. They receive and prepare the patient before the procedure and are present in the operating room. After the procedure, they handle dressing changes and follow-up examinations, and answer the questions that come up after the patient returns home.

Their role also matters in checking that instructions are understood and in noticing changes early during recovery. A nurse may notice that a patient needs an instruction explained again, that they are worried, or that a wound does not look as expected for a given stage of recovery, and informs the physician right away.

The first step

The first step

You book an appointment for Zagreb or Daruvar through the contact page, and the prices of all procedures are in the price list.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Who will examine me, and who performs the procedure?

The examination and the procedure are done by a specialist physician in the field your visit relates to. Surgical procedures of the face and body are performed by dr. sc. Duško Maletić, laser operations such as varicose vein and pilonidal sinus surgery by Mario Bartol, laser treatments of the face and neck by Ines Maletić, and the Hair Center is led by dr. sc. Ana Maletić.

Can two physicians perform my procedure?

Yes, and it is not uncommon. When several procedures are performed during the same operation, the physicians work together, which shortens the time spent in the operating room and avoids several separate recoveries. Such a plan is agreed on at the examination.

Who follows me after the procedure?

After the procedure, you are followed by the same team that received and prepared you. The nurses handle dressing changes and follow-up examinations, and the physician who performed the procedure follows your recovery to the end. You can ask questions after the procedure by phone, without waiting for the next appointment.

Does the same team work in Zagreb and in Daruvar?

Yes. The physicians work at both locations, according to a schedule we agree on when you book your appointment. If one location is better suited for your procedure, we will tell you in advance.
